Some updates :)

Positions filled!

Thank you to all of you who emailed me about becoming pattern testers. I am comfortable with the number of testers I have now, I appreciate everyones interest in helping us out. When the time comes that we might need more testers I will post another add.

Color changes...

The clear red flake and ghost shrimp patterns have been slightly modified. The crf will have much less red flake in it, making it more "clear" and the roe sack in the ghost shrimp pattern is completely red flake, no more red coloring. The current pictures will be removed once I get pictures of the new ones. If you have any questions or concerns about the changes please email me at tclures@hotmail.com.

More color patterns!!!

The new plastic will arrive in a few days, and the new patterns will be out. If you think you have a good idea for a pattern let me know about it. I will be experimenting soon :)

A little taste

This is the concept drawing for the new T&C lead head in development.
It will be 1/4 oz and have a 2/0 hook, large eyes, fiber weedguard, and a frontal tie point to reduce fouling by weeds.

Quick report....

In the last 2 weeks, the Ghost Shrimp pattern has caught 3 legal halibut, 1 shortfin corvina, a juvenile white seabass, and a ton of sandies, calicos, and spotties. We will be putting up pictures of peoples catch while using our swimgrubs very soon. I encourage everyone who uses our baits to take pictures while the lure is still in the fish's mouth. It just makes the fish that much more sexy :)

an update.

Finally added something to the "Product" page. They aren't the prettiest pictures but it's nice to have something there.

In other news T&C lures will be at the SCsurffishing.com L.A. fish off next week and will hopefully have some product for the raffle.

ALSO: Thanks SDfish and SCSF! WE just broke 21 visitors and most of them came from those 2 sites!

New Patterns :)

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that we will be adding new color patterns within the next two weeks :)
So far, the next four new patterns are going to be Anchovy, Ivory, Xmas Tree and Chartruese. I am still debating on two other patterns so there might be six more coming out instead of four. Also, a new potential pattern will be tested in the next few weeks, so make sure you check back here soon!

Welcome to the T&C blog!

This blog is coming along nicely!

The Title header logo looks great, the background tile looks cool.

I still have a lot of stuff to do, though.

Next step... generate a FAV ICON!

Everyone just look at some swim grubs until everything else is ready!

What is a Swim Grub?

Simply put; this isn't your grandfather's "grub". The Swim Grub incorporates aspects from 2 of our favorite lures: the old school curly-tail and the West Coast style saltwater swimbait.

One of the things that sets it apart from your plain old vanilla curly tail is that we use a one piece top pour mold rather than use a two piece injection molding process. This gives us the flexibility to laminate the body of the lure however we want to. We can emulate the lateral line of a bait fish or the roe sack of a female ghost shrimp. The average curly tail will only have separate colors in the body and tail or split straight down the middle.

Another thing that makes the Swim Grub stand out is that the body isn't round. It's designed to give a more fish like profile in the water rather than emulate a small insect larvae.
