The winner for the month of May is Jarrett Rosenthal, he caught this very nice calico bass in the 19"-20" range from the shore on a custom Denver Broncos pattern swimgrub. Its nice seeing the custom patterns do well this month, also had a couple submissions with a firetiger pattern that had the lead for a while until this calico overtook it.
The winner for the silver fish contest is Alvin Arreola, he caught this nice 22" shortfin corvina using the 3" aquamarine pattern swimgrub.
I want to thank everyone for their submissions, even though there werent too many in May.
I had no submissions for freshwater fish, so I will not have an ongoing freshwater fish photo contest.
Photo contests for June include silver fish, halibut, and of course our normal one for any fish.
I would like to add that I have had more reports of fish caught with custom patterns than normal ones for the month of May lol, like this chunky spotty on a firetiger pattern :)
As a matter of fact, this pattern did so well I just might include it on the color chart soon ;)
