---UPDATE---

My father passed away this morning at 3:50am, and although me and my family are hurting inside, we are also happy it is all overwith. No more pain and suffering for dad, and its time to start healing.

I appreciate everyones patience during this very hard time. I will resume making orders on Monday, March 5th. Turn around time may be a few days since there are a handful of orders pending. As always, they will be completed in the order they were paid for.

I have decided on a date for the T&C Tubers event, it will be March 17th, same time and place. I do hope all the current teams can make it for that date. If not I apologize..... I will have other events in the future.

Thanks again for all of your support!

----NOTICE----

Due to a family emergency, I am going to have to postpone this Saturdays float tube event. I will choose another date soon after everything has been taken care of. My father has been terminally ill for a year and a half, and this morning has taken a bad turn for the worse. He is not expected to make it to this weekend, and I will not be able to make any baits during the next couple of weeks, so I apologize if anyone was getting ready to make an order. I appreciate everyones understanding.

T&C Tubers Maps

Here are a couple maps of where we will be at Spanish Landing. The first map shows you how to get in. From Harbor Drive(red), you turn into parking lot(green) from Lee Ct.
There is plenty of FREE parking here, just drive right in and park, just make sure you do not park in stalls where you need a permit, I think there are two of them.
There are restrooms at the end of the parking lot just before you get to the sand, and there is a shower also if you want to rinse your tube off afterwards. The yellow "X" is where the check in headquarters will be.
There is one boundary noted in ORANGE in the 2nd photo, please do not venture beyond this point. You all know the routine, if you have any questions please email me at tclures@hotmail.com.

T&C Tubers Update

If you have a float tube, and love to fish with swimgrubs, then I am inviting you to come and fish with a bunch of fellow T&C Tubers for a little float tube session. This is not a tournament or a big contest, but its a group session with a slight twist.

Here are the details!!!

When: Saturday, February 25th from 8am-11am
Where: Spanish Landing(sandy launch area)

You and a teammate will be choosing one T&C pattern to represent, and to fish with the entire session. The pattern you choose will be the name of your team(team ghost shrimp, team razor clam, etc). Swimgrubs WILL NOT be provided for this get together, it is up to you to have plenty of baits for your team to be able to fish for 3 hours. You can use any jigheads you wish but the pattern you represent is the pattern you will be using the entire time. This will be a friendly get together just to see which pattern can catch the most, and the biggest spotted bay bass. Photos of all fish that are caught are encouraged, and all photos should be taken by your teammate and should include angler and fish in the photo. There will be a little something for the biggest spotty, so if you happen to catch a nice one you should also take a photo of the fish with a tape measurement, perhaps the one printed on most float tube aprons. I ask that all photos be emailed to me sometime later on that evening so I can determine which team had the most fish, and who caught the biggest spotty.
As far as the boundaries goes, NO fishing past the fuel dock at the end of Harbor Island, and NO fishing past the first bridge approaching Liberty Station. For those of you who will be fishing the docks, please be careful, and courteous of the boats and the people who live in them.

It would be a good idea to arrive early to get set up, I will probably be there by 7am. If all registered teams check in before 8am we can launch early and get a little extra fishing time in. Otherwise everyone will launch at 8am. Fishing stops at 11am, and you should be back to the launch area by 11:30am.

Only those who have signed up properly via email(tclures@hotmail.com) will be able to represent a pattern and be eligible for any prizes. If you do not know anyone with a float tube I would suggest asking around the local fishing forums to see if anyone would be interested in joining you. Sign ups start today, January 1st and I will keep them open until February 10th, so there is plenty of time to try and find a partner. IF you would like to be placed on a waiting list to see if there are any other persons wanting to participate who cannot find a partner, I will pair you with the next person who gets put on that list. If you get lucky and find a partner, you two would play email or phone tag to decide on a pattern to represent.
If for any reason you want to drop out please let me know as soon as possible either by email or phone. If your partner has to drop out and you still want to participate, you would be placed on the waiting list unless you are able to find another teammate.

I am not expecting a huge turnout since this is for more fun than anything, but thats why I am doing it, to have a little fun! I have no problems with friendly side betting(espescially if lunch is at stake!), but make sure its friendly.... I will propose a little something on the day of the event.

Lastly, if you do not have anough baits to support your team, I will sell one dozen baits of the pattern you will be representing on the day of the get together for $4 cash only. Only those who have an official team will be able to buy the baits at a discount, and only one dozen per team.

If you have any questions at all please email them to me at tclures@hotmail.com. I look forward to float tubing with everyone!

January Winner!

Another photo contest win for Brian Johansen with this toad 18" spotty caught while using the xmas oil swimgrub. As I mentioned a couple months back the prizes will be determined by myself instead of them being chosen. Some of you may have frowned at this idea, but I am sure most will like what I give up for the prize ;) For the most part these will be one or more test patterns that are not on the color chart. Submit your photos with the bait visible and you will have a shot at winning some! You can either email them to me at tclures@hotmail.com or post them up on our facebook page.
