Customer report!!!

We were out on the big bay yesterday and absolutely killed em out there, finished up with like 40+ to the boat all on big hammer swim-baits and (mostly were caught) on those magical little things you call swim-grubs.
Check out these pics, we caught spotties and sandies and calicos, all on razor clam / aqua marine.
My brother caught the biggest spottie of his life (the biggest spottie i've ever seen) on the aqua marine, this thing had to be close to 5lbs.. The spottie in my SDfish avatar went 4.2 on a scale... Compare this one in my brothers picture (2nd and 3rd pic attached) to mine on sdfish.
I kid you not, this thing had to have been pushing 5lbs... biggest spottie my brother, kody or i have ever seen. I dont know how much of a saltwater bass fisherman you are, but when you tell someone you caught a 5lb spotted bay bass, they think your full of B.S. but i'll stand by my claim, no fish stories or exaggerations, this thing was HUGE!
Also attached are two pictures of two separate double hook-ups on the grubs, i personally love picture 4, two different species, same bait style, gotta love it.
Thanks for making such an amazing product bro,
Dan,
P.S. i'll be needing to buy some more soon :D
P.S.S. : Just a recomendation.... I think you might need to make a less durable product or charge more for it haha... my brother landed like 10 fish on his same razor clam before he had to change it (where as a big hammer swimbait can survive about four-five fish) . Kudos again for an amazing product.

Leadhead Progress

I finally finished up my first mold. I still won't be able to pour it yet for a week or so but I'm really excited and want to show off my work. The hooks fit in there perfectly!

This is for the football style heads with weedguard and eyes. I made cavities for 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4 oz. After seeing all these reports of people fishing deep off the party boats I figure 1/2 and 3/4 oz are needed.

I'm going to start on the shad style mold tomorrow!

And some more pix!

From the top left to right, a starry rockfish caught using the razor clam, a halibut caught on the razor clam, a spotty caught on the razor clam, a halibut caught on the razor clam, a spotty on the aquamarine, and a very nice leaderboard halibut on the alien pattern.

Some fish pix!

The first pic is a white seabass caught using the circus shad pattern in mission bay. The second is a sugar bass caught out in the kelp using the ghost shrimp pattern. The third is a sculpin also caught out in the deep water on the ivory pattern. The 4th pic is a sculpin caught on a very old test pattern, I cant even make out which one it was. Keep em coming!

This might help you decide which colors to purchase :)

Here is a cheezy pie chart I made showing which colors have been producing. The numbers on the new patterns are very low because I havent received any reports from them yet, other than my own. I will update this chart every 2-3 weeks or so.

Thank you!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone who showed up for the Bassin' for Breast Cancer contest this morning. It was a pleasure meeting all of you.
Conditions werent the best but at least we managed to stay dry. Not one drop of rain the whole time, which wasn't the case on the way over there. So thank you to the rain gods for letting us fish for a while.
To no surprise my wife caught the first fish, I knew she would... It was a 15" corvina, however she didnt catch it on the pink bait, she cheated and used the ghost shrimp pattern. The only other fish caught during the event was a 14" spotty, caught by myself on the proper bait ;)
I will definitely be holding this same event next year, as well as some similar events in the near future. Please check back here for the latest information about our upcoming events.

Photo contest winner!

The winner of September's photo contest Is Kody K. He caught this 4lb brown rockfish while bottom fishing using the razor clam swimgrub. He caught a few nice fish that day also on the razor clam including a bocaccio and a vermillon rockfish, but the brownie was the biggest. We did have a couple calico bass that were pretty chunky that were caught on the razor clam also, but not quite as big as Kody's fish. Congratulations Kody!
